Mary A. Barbera, 67, a resident of Syracuse Ave. Oswego, passed away September 17, 2011 at her home.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Hotaling) Reidy.
Mary worked as a Register Nurse throughout New York and Connecticut.
She enjoyed crafts, reading books and spending time with her family.
Surviving are five daughters, Ann Marie (Jonathan) Summerville of Hannibal; Annette Barbera of Fulton; Chrystal (Tony) Mayo of Orlando, Fl; Cynthia Smith (Dave Stevens) of New Haven; Theresa (Gerry) Amyot of Grand Island; a son, Joseph (Kristine) Barbera of Oswego; a brother, Larry Reidy of Minetto; two sisters, Audrey (Bill) Chetney of Fulton; Sevilla (George) Talamo of Stewart, Fl; a brother-in-law Gilbert Dubouis of Rochester; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her loyal companions Collin and Aura; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Richard Barbera, a sister Dorethea Dubouis, and grandchildren, Angelina Marie and Richard Maynes.
Funeral Services will be held 11a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 9-11a.m. Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
