OSWEGO, NY – Mary Ellen Kielb, 89, a former resident of East Utica Street, passed away on Monday Jan. 9, 2012, at the Pontiac Care and Rehab Center.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Alice (Ward) MacDonald and was a graduate of Oswego High School.
She was employed with the Bauxite Office in Oswego and later was a homemaker.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her son, Richard Fader of Oswego; two daughters, Elizabeth Comerford of Minetto and Theresa (Timothy) Frey of Oswego; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, William Fader; her second husband, Walter Kielb; and her son, Charles Fader.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Paul’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
