PHOENIX, NY – Mary Grace Ranieri, 87, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Saturday Oct. 8, 2016.
She was born in Fulton, NY, to her late parents, Mary (Amico) and Richard Firenze on Oct. 3, 1929.
Mary lived in the town of Volney for many years.
She served as an auxiliary member of the Volney Fire Department for the time she resided there.
In 1994, Mary moved to Canandaigua for a few years before moving back to this area and settling in Baldwinsville.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, John P. Ranieri, on Sept. 18, 1994; a daughter, Jean Ann Ranieri, on Dec. 23, 1974; and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Maria E. and Ed Calkins of Baldwinsville; her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas J. and Roxanne Ranieri of Fulton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; her brother Sam Firenze of Annapolis, Md.; serveral nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday Oct. 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.
Services will be conducted on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. John P. Finnegan officiating.
Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
