OSWEGO, NY – On Sunday April 26, 2015, Mary S. Czirr, 95, a resident of Oswego passed away at the Seneca Hill Manor.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Grace (Farrell) Schuler.
She was a graduate of Oswego High School and the RBI Secretarial School.
Mary was a legal secretary for many lawyers including Judge Thomas M. McGough.
She was also employed with Taggert and later sold real estate.
She loved to read, play pinochle and swim at the YMCA.
She also enjoyed spending several months a year at her condo on New Smyrna Beach, Florida, with her husband, Ed.
Surviving are her son, Eric (Teresa) Czirr of Fulton; a daughter, Linda Czirr of Victoria, British Columbia; two granddaughters, Lisa Czirr and Emily (James) Czirr-Finelli; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward, in 2013; a sister, Albertine; and three brothers, John and Robert who were killed during World War II and Richard.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from the Dowdle Funeral Home with calling hours from 9 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
Entombment will be in All Saints’ Mausoleum.
