Masons Celebrate George Washington’s Birthday


On February 23, Lake City 127 F&AM held itsr 62nd Annual George Washington Celebration.

A roast pork supper was served by Lake City Victoria Chapter 205 Eastern Star.

The head table included The Hon. and Brother Fred Beardsley, chairman of the Oswego County Legislature and The Hon. Thomas Gillen, Mayor of the city of Oswego.

Masonic dignitaries were Garry Visconti, District Deputy Grand Master, William B Fink, Junior Grand Warder, John Fuller, Past Grand Warder, and Tom McMillin, Past Senior Grand Warder.

Lake City Master James Rizzo welcomed the dignitaries and members.

John E. Krauss served as Toastmaster for the evening.

After enjoying fellowship and a feasting, the body adjurned to the Lodge room to listen to a speech from Thomas M. McMillin on the life and accomplishments of President and Mason George Washington.

A fine evening was enjoyed by all.

We were grateful for the good weather that allowed safe travel for our guests.
