Fulton Police Issue Travel Advisory

Fulton, NY 5:30 p.m. 3/14/2017) — The Fulton Police urge caution for motorists traveling in and around the city of Fulton.

In recent hours, steady snowfall combined with blowing snow has made travel and visibility on city streets hazardous.

The snowfall is expected to continue throughout the evening and into Wednesday.

The Department of Public Works is in the process of clearing the streets.

The Fulton Police recommend no unnecessary travel in and around the city of Fulton.

The Travel Advisory will be in effect until 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police remind persons in the city of Fulton that on-street parking is prohibited from 1:30 to 5:30 a.m.

Violators will be ticketed and may be towed.
Travel Advisory in the city of Oswego

OSWEGO (4:15 p.m. March 14) – Effective immediately, Mayor William J. Barlow Jr. has issued a Travel Advisory in the city of Oswego due to heavy snow accumulations and white-out conditions in our immediate area.

A Travel Advisory means NO unnecessary travel on city streets, and NO PARKING on city streets between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m.

Motorists are advised to travel with caution if they must drive and refrain from parking on city streets to assist the DPW crews in their snow removal efforts.

This Travel Advisory is effective until 6 a.m. Thursday, March 16.

Absolutely NO PARKING on city streets on both Tuesday and Wednesday nights, March 14 and 15, between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m.

  1. Maybe now that it has stopped snowing why are the roads not plowed or clear of snow. If you ask the people to stay off the roads so the DPW crews can clean the roads. Then why are they now clear of snow yet?
