Mayor Gillen Announces Appointment Of New Assistant City Attorney

OSWEGO – Mayor Thomas W. Gillen is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas A. Reynolds, Esq., as the assistant city attorney for the city of Oswego.

Attorney Reynolds will be assisting City Attorney Gay H. Williams, Esq., in handling the city’s legal matters and providing advice to the mayor, members of the Common Council, and the department heads for the city.

Attorney Reynolds was born and raised in the Oswego area, graduated from LeMoyne College and Albany Law School and has been practicing law for the past 28 years.

Attorney Reynolds has also served as counsel to the city of Oswego’s Community Development Loan Review Board since March of 2000.

He has been attorney for the town of New Haven since1987 and has also served as Zoning Board attorney for the Town of Oswego and part-time Oswego City Court Judge from 2001 to 2007.

Attorney Reynolds resides in the city of Oswego with his wife, Karen, and their three children.

Attorney LouAnne Rucynski-Coleman resigned from this position, effective July 31.

Assistant City Attorney Reynolds will be working out of the City Attorney’s office at City Hall.
