Memorial Brick Walkway at Mount Adnah Cemetery

FULTON – The Mount Adnah Preservation Foundation, Inc., constructed a Memorial Brick Walkway at the site of the former Case Memorial Chapel at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, in 2009, using funds donated in memory of Dawn Rogers Rowlee, a former director of the Mount Adnah Preservation Foundation.

She had a keen interest in the Memorial Garden that was planted at the former Case Memorial Chapel site and the walkway is a lasting memorial to her dedication to the garden.

A memorial brick in this walkway can be a lasting remembrance of your loved ones, also.

The foundation has added new plants to the Memorial Garden through the years and this has become a special area of remembrance in the cemetery.

This brick walkway begins with the walkway leading to the chapel site and continues to the memorial bench at the east end of the site.

There are now more than 250 inscribed memorial bricks located in the walkway, with room for several hundred more inscribed bricks.

The Mount Adnah Preservation Foundation will continue to sell memorial bricks until the entire walkway has been filled with inscribed memorial bricks.

Visit the Memorial Garden and walkway when you are at Mount Adnah Cemetery, sit a while on the memorial bench, remember your loved ones and enjoy the peace and tranquility in this lovely area.

You are invited to purchase memorial bricks to be installed in this walkway in memory of any person, whether buried at Mount Adnah, or elsewhere.

Each brick may contain a maximum of 18 characters and spaces on each of three lines.

This is a loving way to pay tribute to your loved ones.

Brick order forms may be obtained from any Mount Adnah Preservation Foundation director or at Foster Funeral Home, Sugar Funeral Home, Mount Adnah Cemetery Office, and the Mount Adnah Preservation Foundation, at PO Box 715, Fulton, NY.

Memorial bricks must be purchased by October 31, for installation by Veterans’ Day.

Orders received after October 31, and throughout the winter of 2015-16, will be installed by Memorial Day 2016.
