A Celebration of Life for Jack L. Baker, 54, of Sterling, will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, October 5th at the Sterling United Methodist Church, 104A, Sterling, NY. Jack died June 22nd from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in the town of Clay.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Born in Syracuse, he resided in Sterling for the past year. He previously lived in Brooklyn, Michigan.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Jack retired from General Motors after 34 years.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â He was a charter fishing captain on Lake Ontario.
Jack was predeceased by his father, John A. Baker, who died in 2007 and a sister, Diane Winn, who died in 2005.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Deborah Somers-Baker of Sterling; a son, Brian Baker of Liverpool; his mother, Geraldine Baker of Boynton Bach, FL and a brother, Don Baker of Cape Coral, FL.
