Mental Health Month “Kicks It” With Tournament

OSWEGO – Health professionals across the nation are observing May as National Mental Health Month. In Oswego County, they will “kick it” with a kickball tournament on Saturday, May 22. Games will be played rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Deneshea Field near Lake Neahtahwanta on Route 3 in Fulton.

The tournament is a competition between several Oswego County mental health service providers to promote awareness about mental health, draw attention to available local services and promote the importance of mental wellness for everyone.

The public is invited to come to the tournament and watch local human service agencies compete to be the “kick it” champion of mental health awareness.
