On Friday, September 25, at approximately 5:30 a.m., investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the New York State Police Special Operations Response Team and Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team, executed a methamphetamine related search warrant at 521 S. Albion Road in the town of Albion.
Upon execution of the warrant, one of the suspects was allegedly found to be actively manufacturing methamphetamine and did attempt to destroy the lab.
Three residents of that address, 34-year-old Edward H. Hutchinson Sr., 31-year-old Charles A. Hutchinson and 32-year-old Tracy M. Hutchinson were arrested and criminally charged with one count each of the following:
Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the 2nd degree – Class C Felony
Endangering the Welfare of a Child – Class A Misdemeanor
The charges allege that the three defendants acted in concert to knowingly and unlawfully manufacture methamphetamine in the presence of children under the age of 16.
The defendants are being held pending arraignment.
Materials and equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine were located and seized as was a small amount of methamphetamine, according to police.
The Oswego County Drug Task Force is comprised of members from the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, NYS University Police at Oswego, U.S. Border Patrol, Fulton City Police Department and Oswego City Police Department.
