Mexico Point Park is the place to be in June.
Mexico Point Park off 104B has a plethora of new events this year that complement old favorites.
And, of course there is hiking, picnicking and swimming.
Historic Casey’s Cottage will be open on weekend and on request.
All New Art in the Park
Attention local artists and crafters, Art in the Park will be June 8 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Mexico Point Park located on Mexico Point Drive, Mexico. Free space set-up setting at 9 a.m. of event day, bring own tables and small tent (as needed), limited space maybe available under Mexico Point Park’s tent. Lawn sale items may also be offered in your space. Park in the Dark
Take a silent nature walk with Edna Yablonski. Listen to and look for the creatures of the night. Wear proper footwear and bring a flashlight. Free but donations are appreciated.
Enjoy live music and refreshments from 7 to 9 p.m. in a coffeehouse atmosphere inside historic Casey’s Cottage. Adults: $7. Members of Friends of Mexico Point Park, seniors, and students: $5.
Queen of Hearts Tea
Queen Edina will be serving tea, stories and more for your delight. Adults: $18; Children 3 to 12: $5. Children under 3 are free. Call 315 963-7657 for reservations before June 27.
