State Senator Patty Ritchie has announced her “Women of Distinction” exhibit is on display at the Mexico Public Library, located at 3269 Main St., Mexico.
The display is available for viewing during regular business hours.
The traveling display, which will be featured at Oswego County libraries through Oct. 8, provides an opportunity for people to learn about New York’s female leaders, both past and present.
The moving display features this year’s Woman of Distinction, Jan Rebeor of Oswego County, as well as other famous New York women; such as Rhoda Fox Graves, Susan B. Anthony, Harriet Tubman, Lucille Ball and more.
The display will be featured at the following libraries:
Mexico Public Library, Aug. 9 to 17
Sandy Creek’s Annie P. Ainsworth Memorial Library, Aug. 20 to 28
Central Square Library, Aug. 29 to Sept. 6
Pulaski Public Library, Sept. 10 to 18
Phoenix Public Library, Sept. 19 to 27
Oswego City Library, Sept. 28 to Oct. 8
