The event, which runs from noon – 4 p.m., will play host to a series of family fun, games, and entertainment for all ages for Novelis employees and their immediate families.

Part of that fun and entertainment will be the opportunity to be up close and personal with a 900-horsepower Supermodified and its pilot, the Speedway’s two-time and defending ‘Favorite Driver.’

Barnes currently rides second in the Novelis Supermodified driver standings behind seven-time Speedway champion Otto Sitterly.

Just nine markers out of the championship lead, Barnes has one feature win and one heat race win already this season with two top five main event runs in three features so far in 2016.

Entering their 12th season as the title sponsor of the Novelis Supermodified division at Oswego Speedway, this Saturday serves as a tremendous opportunity for Novelis employees and their families to learn more about an integral part of Oswego history and the local community.

After a week off from competition, Oswego Speedway will also be back to racing this Saturday for the Spring Championship presented by C’s Beverage Center and Century 21 Galloway Realty featuring the first ever ‘6-Pack the Back’ promotion.

For the first time in several years, Oswego Speedway will allow six pack size coolers to be brought into the Speedway’s rear grandstand only on June 11. Food and beverage will be permitted inside coolers, including beer.

One cooler per individual allowed, with no glass containers.

Anyone who leaves the confines of the Speedway’s rear grandstand will not be allowed re-entry with a cooler.

All seating in the rear grandstand will be general admission seating on June 11, set at $20. There will be concession stands open in the rear grandstand also.

Fans with 2016 season passes will be able to use those passes for the rear grandstand.

Anyone purchasing a Price Chopper Ticket to Go for June 11 that wishes to sit in the rear grandstand will have to pay $5 to enter.

Coolers and outside food & beverage will not be permitted in the front grandstand. General admission seating in the front grandstand will be set at $15.

Pit gates will open Saturday at 3:30 p.m. with grandstand gates opening at 4:30 p.m. with the start of hot laps.

The night’s first heat race will go green at 6:30 p.m.
