FULTON â€“ Residents, family and staff at Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton came together to support Social Services Director Laurel VanLoon and Social Worker Dave Starna who will be running in the 16th Annual Susan G. Komen â€œRace For The Cureâ€ event on May 15th ant the NYS Fairgrounds.
Michaud held a bake sale and raffle to help raise sponsorship money on behalf of the two participants, and to show support for the Susan G. Komen mission to battle breast cancer.

For VanLoon, participating in the race is personal. â€œI have had two close family members diagnosed with breast cancer in the last six months. Like so many, I am doing this to show my support for my family and anyone who is affected by this illness.â€
