Mid-York Color Guard competition set Saturday in Oswego

OSWEGO, NY – This Saturday, at five o’clock, the Oswego High School varsity and jayvee winter guards will be hosting a Mid-York Color Guard competition.

A dozen guards will be vying for awards in several categories as  Powers Gymnasium in Frederick Leighton Elementary School will be the scene for this crowd-pleasing event.

Guards will represent Baldwinsville, Liverpool, East Syracuse-Minoa, Jordan-Elbridge, New Hartford and host Oswego.

The Oswego Varsity Guard is having an outstanding season and is competing in the top class.

The Bucs are currently ranked third in New York State.

Tickets will be available at the door for $6.
