Mildred M. Davies, 98, of Oneida St. Fulton, died Thursday in Seneca Hill Manor after a short illness.

She was born in Oswego the daughter of the late Clarence and Louise Taylor, and has been a resident of Fulton for most of her life. Mrs. Davies was a salesperson at Ted’s Jewelry Store, Pulaski, and a former employee of Sealright in Fulton. She was a member of St. John’s Church in Pulaski, and St. John’s Altar Rosary Society. Mrs. Davies is a communicant of Holy Trinity Church, Fulton.

She was predeceased by her husband George P. Davies in 2002, and sisters Libby and Anita.

Mrs. Davies is survived her sons George Davies of Nashville, TN, and Robert (Frances) Davies of Lowville, NY, ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Fulton. Spring burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4:00 – 7:00 at the Sugar Funeral Home 224 West Second Street S. Fulton, NY 13069.


  1. So sorry for the loss of Millie. She was a wonderful, sweet person and neighbor. She will be missed.

  2. Millie was a special friend. She had a heart larger than she was. She was full of energy and kept us laughing. Her pies were the best!! My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.

  3. You will be sadly missed Mildred! You were the light of the law office I work for and I will never forget you………. being able to help you every year with your STAR application and you bringing me candy bars for helping you! I love you Mildred!
