Military: Local Soldier Comes Home From Middle East

Army National Guard Sgt. Lindsay M. Crabtree is returning to the U.S. after a deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom, respectively.

The soldiers return to Fort Dix, N.J. for debriefing, evaluations and out-processing procedures before returning to their regularly assigned Army Reserve or National Guard units.

The sergeant served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Iraq Theater of Operations.

Crabtree, a military police member, is assigned to the 206th Military Police Company, Latham, N.Y. She has served in the military for 11 years.

She is the daughter of Debbie Casselmon of Bardeen Road, Hastings, N.Y.

In 1999, Crabtree graduated from Paul V. Moore High School, Central Square, N.Y.
