More Honors For Lakers’ Burridge

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Oswego State men’s basketball senior forward Chad Burridge continues to haul in the hardware for the 2011-12 season, as he was one of eight players in NCAA Division III men’s basketball named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-America First Team.

Burridge, who was named East District Player of the Year earlier this week for the second straight season, was selected by member coaches of the NABC. He was a First Team NABC All-America honoree last season as well.

Burridge (Hannibal) averaged 16.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and 64 total blocks en route to being named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Player of the Year for second time after Oswego State posted a program-best conference record of 18-0 and its first SUNYAC Championship since 1965.

He was also named to the East Region Player of the Year.
