More Honors for Oswego State men’s basketball forward Ward

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Oswego State men’s basketball senior forward Hayden Ward continues to haul in the hardware following the 2012-13 season, as he was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-America Third Team.

Ward, who was named to the East District First Team earlier this week, was selected by member coaches of the NABC.

Ward, the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Player of the Year, averaged 18.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per game to help lead the Lakers to a 19-8 record and the SUNYAC semifinals.

The Montauk, NY, native was also named to the ECAC Division III Upstate First Team and D3hoops.com East Region First Team.

Ward is the second player in program history to named to the NABC All-America squad, joining former teammate Chad Burridge, who was a two-time First Team honoree.
