The charges stem from the investigation into a traffic stop initiated after he was observed allegedly driving in an erratic manner.

Initially, two other drivers traveling eastbound on SR 104 made the officer, who was driving westbound at the time, aware of Riley’s inconsistent driving, according to deputies.

Subsequently observed by the officer, he was able to determine Riley was driving in an erratic manner, unable to maintain a constant speed, crossing hazardous road markings, and turning into oncoming traffic after signaling to turn left from SR 104 onto CR 22.

Riley was issued tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Albion Court on April 16.
