It is enough to say that this movie is about two astronauts coping with disaster, in what the movie reviewer, Matt Zoller, calls “a huge and technically dazzling film.”

e calls it “a Hollywood blockbuster (that) grasps the essence of a job that many can’t imagine without feeling dizzy.”

He adds, “The panoramas of astronauts tumbling against star fields and floating through space stations are both informative and lovely.”

Zoller uses words like “suspense” and “wonder” to further describe the high suspense drama of this Oscar winning movie.

This movie is again sponsored by the Older Adults Team of The Open Doors Neighborhood Center of the First United Church.

First United is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, USA and the Presbyterian Church (USA).
