Music Camp is Coming Back To Oswego

West Baptist Church in Oswego (corner of W. 3rd and Mohawk St.) is very excited to announce that they will be hosting the 4th Annual ‘Make a Joyful Noise: Summer Music Camp’ from July 12th to the 16th from 5:30pm-8:30pm. It is completely free and open to anyone between the ages of 4 and 12. It will be a week in which children will get hands-on experience with hand bells, recorder, rhythm instruments, and choral music. In addition to that, each night we will also have a snack time, a game and/or craft time and a time at our instrument ‘petting zoo’.

The ‘petting zoo’ contains a variety of instruments which the children will have the opportunity to touch, play and ask questions about. Last year’s petting zoo featured harp, viola, trombone, accordion and many, many others. This year’s will feature not only many of last year’s instruments including the church’s pipe organ but new instruments that the children will be given a chance to play.

The week will culminate in a Friday evening performance put on by the children for friends and family; followed by refreshments. To pre-register or if you have any questions please call Abel Searor at 315-598-8800. We can’t wait to see you there!
