MVA Claims Life Of Pulaski Teen

WILLIAMSTOWN – At approximately 11:45 a.m. today, March 30, members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, Williamstown Fire Department, West Amboy Fire Department and NOCA Ambulance responded to State Route 13 in the town of Williamstown, east of County Route 19, for a two-car motor vehicle collision.

Further investigation revealed, a 2017 Dodge 5500 lift boom truck operated by 45-year-old Jeffery A. Carroll of Little Rock, Arkansas, was travelling in a easterly direction on State Rpute 13.

The Dodge truck crossed into the westbound lane and struck head on a 2006 Chevy Impala operated by 19-year-old Mikayla E. Guile of Pulaski.

Miss guile was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mr. Carroll was transported by NOCA Ambulance to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

He was ticketed for Failure to keep right, Unlicensed operation and failure to wear a seatbelt.

The collision is still under investigation.
