Nancy Heaphy, 71, of Palermo, the wife of Thomas Heaphy, died Sunday surrounded by her family.
She was born January 31, 1940, a daughter to the late George and Lucille Bellinger. Nancy graduated from Mexico Academy. She enjoyed bowling and bingo. Nancy was a child care and foster care provider most of her life. She was predeceased by two sisters, Jane Hamilton and Bette Waugh; two brothers, Ken and Eddie Lee Bellinger and by a grandson, Douglas Raymond, Jr.
In addition to her husband, Thomas, Nancy is survived by her children, Donna (Rob) Fitzgerald of Tacoma, WA, Debbie (Scott) Heaphy of Cato, Dolores Raymond of Phoenix, John (Lynette) Heaphy of Fulton and Denise (Aaron) Heaphy of Auburn, WA; siblings, Beatrice LaRobardier, Georgia (Meldon) Dodge, Bernard (Bev) Bellinger, Robert Bellinger, Diane (John) Berg, Don Bellinger and Chuck (Martha) Bellinger; nine grandchildren, America, Niki, Kristi, Kelly, Melissa, Matt, Nick, Desiree and Joshua; several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corner of Rochester and South Third Streets, Fulton. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt.
