WILLIAMSON, NY – Following a week off, the “cars and stars” from the NASCAR Whelen Racing Series return to Spencer Speedway’s oval this Friday evening, July 8.

Starting the night off will be the Kids’ Bicycle races, which were rained out on June 24. The kids will take to the track starting at 7 p.m. Kids should make sure they register for the races by 6:50 p.m.  A drawing will be held using the names of all of the kids running in the night’s bicycle races for a free bicycle. One boys bike and one girls bike will be given away.

NASCAR auto racing begins at 7:30 p.m. sharp. On tap, will be a four-star program of NASCAR Sunoco Modifieds, Super Stocks, Hoosier Tire Super Sixes and Auto Value 4-Cylinder Scorpion racing. Fans that bring their ticket stub from the June 17th event will save $2 off general admission prices.

Spencer Speedway is located just 15 minutes east of Rochester, NY, along Route 104, in the Town of Williamson. Spencer Speedway is the local “NASCAR Place to Race” for Central New York. Points earned each week at Spencer are counted into the national NASCAR Whelen All-American Series championship.
