Nationwide Presents A Night Of Racing At Brewerton

BREWERTON, NY – As the temperatures heat up outside, so does the racing action at the Brewerton Speedway. This Friday night June 1 Nationwide Insurance brings you a full night of dirt slinging, broad sliding and high speed racing excitement.

Can the streak continue in the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds at the “D-Shaped Dirt demon”. In five features run to date there have been five different winners that include, Ryan Phelps, Alan Johnson, Jimmy Phelps, Willy Decker and Billy Decker, showing that it’s hard to deny that the Brewerton Speedway has one of the toughest fields anywhere in the Northeast.

Those drivers have also qualified for the point’s season ending “Winners Classic” sponsored by track marketing partner NAPA on Labor Day weekend for Modified feature winners throughout the 2012 season.

The Nationwide Insurance IMCA Modifieds will be holding their annual special race, the Dean Hubbs Memorial in honor of the Dean who lost his life in 1997.

“Your local Nationwide Insurance Agents are grateful to Brewerton Speedway and the race fans to allow us to sponsor the IMCA modified class and the Dean Hubbs Memorial race,” Said Nationwide Insurance agent and IMCA Modified driver Rob Keller about the special night.

Also on the race card Friday night will be the Beaver River Distribution Mod Lites and Anchor Bar & Grill Four Cylinder Super Stocks.

Gates will open Friday at 5:30 with the first green flag to wave at 7:30. Adult grandstand admission will be $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger admitted FREE to the grandstands. Pit admission will be $27 competitors/$30 for non-competitors.

As the calendar moves towards summer don’t forget to mark on your calendar, Wednesday, July 18 as the 410 Sprint cars will be making their first ever historic visit to the “D-Shaped Dirt Demon”. The UNOH All-Star Sprints will invade the Brewerton Speedway.
