New Bike Rack at the Hannibal Library

A new bike rack was made possible thru the efforts of the "Friends of the Library". The purpose is to prevent the theft of bikes. On Friday, May 29, Fred Kent and Dan Mahaney ( pictured Lt. to Rt.) installed the new bike rack on the grounds of the Hannibal Community Center, where the Library is located. Lewis and L'burta Lachute designed the bike rack, and, their nephew, Marvin Jenks purchased the materials and constructed the bike rack. They have donated their time and money to make this happen.

  1. It is nice to see people are still helping people up there–I am in Florida now but used to work with Marvin and Louie.
