Ms. Bocyck will also present a session on Career Exploration on Wednesday, November 9 at 10 a.m. This workshop is for people who want to explore a variety of career options, either because they want to change careers, or because they are just entering the work force and are not sure where their interests and talents lie.
Please call the Library at 341-5867 or go to the Main Desk in the Library to sign up for these workshops.
Job Club is held every Monday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome. During Job Club, Public Computing Center Director Theresa Slosek helps people with resumes, cover letters, interviews, and anything related to a job search.
The Public Computing Center at Oswego Public Library is open every day except Sundays, with computer and job skills classes and someone to help members of the public with anything computer, technology or job search related. In addition, the library has online tutorials to help people develop skills they need to become employed or to improve their employment status. Programs are provided free of charge through a Broadband Technology Opportunity (BTOP) grant.
