NEW HAVEN, NY – The town of New Haven is pleased to once again host the New Haven Farmers’ Market on Monday evenings.
They are currently looking to add more vendors to the market.
Started in 2012, the market provides residents with fresh and local food, and farmers with an outlet to market their products.
Located right on State Route 104 at the New Haven Town Hall, this farmers’ market takes place from June through October on Mondays from 4 to 7 p.m.
The first market of the year will be June 3.
If you are interested in selling your locally produced goods please contact the market’s manager, Debbie Allen, at 315-963-3900.
Allen said, “The New Haven Farmers’ Market is conveniently located on 104 between Oswego and Mexico, making it convenient for customers to stop in on their way home from work on Mondays. We’re happy to provide an easy and fun way for people to get quality, fresh local products. We’re looking for vendors selling seasonal favorites as well as those with more unusual, harder to find varieties.”
Fresh and delicious local fruits, vegetables and more will soon be available in farmers markets around Oswego County!
Farmers’ markets are a great asset to communities. They bring people together and let consumers meet the farmers and learn more about where their food comes from.
Buying local from Oswego County farmers is also great for the economy, keeping more money here to be re-invested locally.
