LATHAM, NY – Major General Patrick A. Murphy, The Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capabilities for additional responsibility and leadership.
Tyler Weaver from Parish and serving with the Company B, 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion is promoted to the rank of Private First Class.
Brett Janes from Cato and serving with the Company F, 1-169 General Support Aviation Battalion is promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Jacob Hinds from Central Square and serving with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2-108th Infantry is promoted to the rank of Private First Class.
Brandon Peck from Fulton and serving with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team is promoted to the rank of Private.
