ALTMAR-PARISH-WILLIAMSTOWN, NY – The APW Central School District Superintendent, Lynn Rhodes, announced today that the district will be using an Emergency Closing day tomorrow, Friday, February 12.
School will not be in session in-person or remotely.
“We have 120 staff members receiving their second vaccination today,” Rhodes said. “Some staff members are reporting to us that they are experiencing slight side effects from the vaccine already this morning. Due to the number of people reporting side-effects, we will be unable to staff our buildings tomorrow for instruction. Please be safe tomorrow and through our February break.”
The week of February 22 through 26 is planned to be fully remote instruction for all students.
