COVID-19 Statistics Update, November 18, 2020

OSWEGO COUNTY – According to the Oswego County Health Department, as of 3 p.m., there have been 33 additional cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) since yesterday.

The cumulative reported number is 1,26 cases across the county and of those, 976 have recovered and five have died.

SUNY Oswego reported no new cases since yesterday.

The Oswego County Health Department is investigating confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Walmart stores in Oswego and Granby.

Anyone who visited the stores on the following dates may have been exposed to the virus:

Today’s statistics are below:

Oswego County:[2] (as of 3 p.m.) Note, the total number of positive cases is cumulative since March and the number of recoveries and deaths are of those numbers. SUNY Oswego cases are included in the county numbers, however, the county tracks only those living in Oswego County. That means that students who chose to leave and go back to their home county and test positive there will be included on the college’s dashboard, but not the county’s. Their positive result would be reported to their home county, not here.

  • Total # of positive cases: 1,265 (yesterday: 1,232)
  • Total # of recoveries: 976 (yesterday: 884)
  • Total # of hospitalizations: 44 (as of Nov. 1)
  • Total # of deaths: 5 (no change)
  • Total # tests: 73,324 (yesterday: 72,752)
  • Total # of negative results: 71,795 (yesterday: 71,258)
  • Total # of people in mandatory isolation/quarantine: 850 (yesterday: 907)
  • Total # of positive antibody tests: 91 (as of Nov. 5)
  • Total # of negative antibody tests: 3,478 (as of Nov. 5)

251-275 confirmed cases: City of Oswego

  • Total number of tests: 19,846 (yesterday: 19,193)
  • Total number of recoveries: 340 (yesterday: 333)
  • Total number of confirmed cases Nov. 7 to Nov. 20: 34 (no change)
    • students living on-campus: 5 (no change)
    • students living off-campus while taking classes on-campus: 13 (no change)
    • employees working on-campus: 11 (no change)
    • students living off-campus learning remotely: 5 (no change)
    • employees working remotely: 0 (no change)
  • Total number of on-campus quarantine rooms occupied: 5 (no change)
  • Total number of on-campus isolation rooms occupied: 3 (yesterday: 4)
  • Total number of off-campus students in quarantine: 33 (yesterday: 37)
  • Total number of off-campus students in isolation: 9 (yesterday: 14)
