The Fulton Lions Club recently hosted a joint meeting with the Oswego Lions Club and Lions 20-Y-1 District Governor Dr. Kerry Brown, said David Guyer, Fulton president.  Dr. Brown also inducted two new members into each club.

“Fulton inducted Sean Green and Theresa Stephens, and Oswego inducted Mike Henderson and Paul Warren, “ Guyer said. “It’s always wonderful to welcome new members into our clubs, and it was an honor to have our district governor perform the inductions.â€Â

The Fulton Lions Club hosts a number of annual events, such as the Labor Day Duck Derby and Lions Loot to raise funds for helping the visual and hearing impaired in the Greater Fulton community. In 2008-09, the club provided more than $9,000 in free eye exams, eyeglasses, and hearing aids, Guyer said.
