Altmar Man Charged with Grand Larceny

LEE, NY – State Police in Lee arrested Justin K. Empson, 23, from 9 Chinook Lane in Altmar, NY, for Grand Larceny 4th degree, a class “E” felony.

Empson was charged after he allegedly attempted to steal $1,214.43 in merchandise from the Walmart Store in Rome.

Empson was processed and transported to the City of Rome Police lockup to await arraignment Friday morning.

$5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond was set for Empson by the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office.
