Audrey Avery Announces Candidacy

FULTON – To my fellow constituents, I am running for Fifth Ward city council.

I have a great passion for our city. I was born here and my husband and I have a lovely home that we are very proud of.

I feel that our city is not where it should be and I have the drive to make a difference in our ward and city.

I believe that our ward needs leadership and I know that with your help we can make the positive changes we need to improve the quality of life for all.

I wish to be your voice and eyes in our ward.

I feel that our ward has been neglected and this is unacceptable to me.

I am running for this office so I can do the work needed that will lead to improvements in our neighborhoods.

I believe my experiences and dedication to our community provide me with a strong foundation for taking on this leadership role in our ward.

I am the secretary of the Fulton City Republican committee, a member of the friends of Fulton Parks and I volunteer for Fulton Block Builders.

I am a small business owner with strong management and communication skills.

I will be an active voice for you.

We need to band together to address
the issues that are plaguing our city, such as aging infrastructure, absentee landlords, blighted properties, and the need to continue the positive environment that will aid in bringing new businesses to Fulton.

I am a strong hard-working person who will not just sit back and allow the place we call home to fall further into
disrepair.

I will work for our ward and city.

I am willing to do the work needed so I can make good decisions for both.

I hope that I can have your support at the polls this November.

I have the endorsement of the Republican and Conservative committees, and am running on an independent line.

Starting with your vote, we can improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods for all.
