FULTON – Taylor Davis, member engagement & operations coordinator for the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce (GOFCC), spoke to the Fulton Lions Club at their February meeting. Davis, working with the Fulton Lions Club, coordinated a SNAP voucher program used at the Fulton Farmers Market during the 2023 season.

The Fulton Lions Club, in partnership with the (GOFCC), underwrote the cost of NY State Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) one-dollar vouchers for use at the 2023 Fulton Farmers Market. To be eligible, one needed an EBT/SNAP card with funds available on it. Participants could receive a maximum $10 SNAP Match per market from the Lions Club. Davis managed voucher distribution at each market and she and the GOFCC will again partner with the Fulton Lions for the 2024 Fulton Farmers Market, which runs from June to mid-October.
