Christmas Tree Lighting Draws Huge Crowd

Christmasy weather drew scores of people to Fulton City Hall Thursday night to celebrate the start of the holiday season.

Fulton’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony went off without a hitch on a chilly but snowless night.

Besides the lighting, people enjoyed music from local groups and events for children.

The highlight was the arrival of Santa Claus, who sat for a couple of hours to allow children to tell him what they want for Christmas.
