FULTON – Despite the pandemic, the City of Fulton held its 17th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting last night, December 9.
The Department of Parks and Recreation live streamed the ceremony, complete with carolers from the Fulton Alliance Church, members of AmeriCorp handing out candy canes and Santa Claus arriving in a fire truck.
“What is a unique and definitely a revised version of our tree lighting ceremony, but nonetheless, all reason to celebrate. Many reasons to be thankful this year for all that we have. Appreciate all that our community gives back to us,” Mayor Deana Michaels said. “I wish you all a very happy, healthy and safe holiday season.”
