FULTON, NY – Barry Ostrander, superintendent of the Fulton Department of Parks and Recreation, has announced that the city’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Jubilee is planned for Dec. 6.
The event will include free donuts, hot chocolate, candy, face painting, a DJ and a variety of musical performances.
“Enjoy music and fun while getting into the Christmas spirit,” Ostrander said.
Those interested can make donations of a new, unwrapped gift to Toys for Tots.
“To add to the fun, there will be a secret ‘special guest’ stopping by for all the children, as well,” the spokesperson said. “You can also get a special free picture with our special guest and receive a small gift.”
The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fulton Municipal Building, 141 So. First St., Fulton.
“A special thanks is due to all of our sponsors who make this possible,” the spokesperson added.
