On Wednesday (April 13), at approximately 5:18 p.m., State Police were dispatched to a one-car motor vehicle accident on County Route 54 near State Route 264 in the town of Schroeppel.
Investigation at the scene determined the operator and sole occupant of the vehicle, Joseph A. Menard, 58, of Constantia, was allegedly intoxicated.
He was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Menard was transported to Oswego Hospital where he was treated for facial injuries and released.
He was released to a third party with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Schroeppel Court on June 1 at 5:30 p.m.
