In keeping with Granby Elementary tradition, the annual Father’s Day Pizza Party Social was held on Friday, June 13th. This year, the event was a father/son social. Granby students invited their fathers in for an evening of pizza, popsicles, board games, and prizes.

The “Granby Social Gators” (staff members) volunteered their time to serve the pizza and popsicles and coordinated the fun activities for the event. In addition, each father and son posed for a photograph that was later sent home in a special Father’s Day Card.

Nearly 200 fathers and sons enjoyed this year’s celebration. Next year, Granby’s Father’s Day Social will be a father/daughter event.
