FULTON, NY – The United Way of Greater Oswego County announced that it is in the planning stages for the distribution of $66,437 in funding that it has received from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The funding, which can be used for food, rent assistance and utility assistance, is available to 501©3, not-for-profit agencies offering human services programs.
Those agencies interested in applying for FEMA funding must submit a request to the United Way of Greater Oswego County no later than June 3.
The local FEMA board will convene on June 7, 10:30 a.m. at the United Way office, 1 S.First St. in Fulton, to review all requests.
