Fulton Community Theatre joins forces with the student members of Quirk’s Players this weekend to present An Evening On Broadway. The program, which celebrates the Broadway Musical in song, will be performed Friday, October 1st and Saturday, October 2nd at 7:30 pm as well as Sunday, October 3rd at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. All performances will be staged in Jubilee Hall at Holy Trinity Parish, 309 Buffalo Street – which is handicapped accessible.
An Evening On Broadway features music from several different Broadway shows including Fiddler On The Roof, Godspell, Annie, The Music Man, Oklahoma!, Bye Bye Birdie, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Grease, and Hairspray, as well as others. The program includes ensemble numbers, duets and solos from some of Broadway’s most memorable productions.
An Evening On Broadway is under the direction of Kathy DeGolyer from Fulton Community Theatre. Musician Peg Peck, pianist for Quirk’s Players, will be accompanying on piano. Members of Quirk’s Players featured in the production are: Chelsea Avery, Alex Bawarski, Clare Bawarski, Logan Carvey, Nathan Deavers, Jenna Doherty, Ciarra Ferguson, Kyla Freeman, Sara Jay, Eva Jones, Danni Kline, Mitchell Lalik, Vanessa Langdon, Kaitlyn Lauber, Shane McCarthy, Joe Medico, Alexis Pawlewicz, Laura Perwitz, Lacey Rusaw, Amanda Tetro, Amanda Trombly, Mark Wettering and Krysta Woodcock.
An Evening On Broadway will be presented cabaret style. Special desserts prepared by students in Becky Hawley’s gourmet cooking class at G. Ray Bodley High School will be served to patrons during intermission.
Tickets for An Evening On Broadway are $12.00 for adults and $10.00 for senior citizens and children 12 and under and are available at the door.

[3] Love and romance have always been a main theme in Broadway Musicals. Rehearsing a love song from Fulton Community Theatre and Quirk’s Players upcoming production of An Evening On Broadway are Fulton Students Sara Jay and Alex Bawarski. The joint production features music from Broadway musicals that both organizations have presented over the years, as well as music from newer shows as well. An Evening On Broadway is under the direction of Kathy DeGolyer from Fulton Community Theatre.
