Fulton Man Arrested In Rape Investigation

FULTON, NY – Matthew J. Parker, 51, of 217 S. Third St., Fulton, was arrested on Jan. 21 following an investigation by the City of Fulton Police Department.

During the course of the investigation, it was found that Parker allegedly engaged in sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl between the years of 2007 and 2008.

Parker was charged with the following:

• Rape in the second degree (five counts) a class D felony

• Endangering the Welfare of a Child (6 counts) a class A misdemeanor

He was arraigned in Fulton City Court on Jan. 21 by Judge Spencer J. Ludington.

Parker was remanded to Oswego County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or 10,000 secure bail bond.

He is scheduled to return to Fulton City Court on Jan. 26.
