At 10:55 a.m. today (July 27), State Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 48 at Lamson Road, town of Lysander, for a traffic violation.

Investigation at the scene revealed the driver and sole occupant, Cody A. Dygert, 21, from 208 Utica St., Fulton, was allegedly operating with a suspended permit, and was also in possession of heroin.
He was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a class “A” misdemeanor, and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.
He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lysander court on August 9.
