Fulton Police Tuesday night arrested a man wanted in Florida.
Police responded to a call of a disturbance at 151 W. 3rd St. S. last night, according to a news release from the department. While there, police checked for any outstanding warrants on a person who was a guest at the home.
The check turned up a warrant for Paul A. Janes, Jr., 32, of Fulton. He’s wanted in Volusia County, Florida on a warrant issued last week for failing to show up for a court hearing on a charge of “fleeing/attempt to elude”.
Police in Volusia County said they wanted to go ahead with an extradition, so Janes was arrested. He was held overnight and is scheduled to appear before a judge in Fulton City Court Wednesday. He will be held in the Oswego County Correctional Facility until he’s picked up by police in Volusia County.
