Fulton Police Deputy Chief Thomas Abelgore To Retire

FULTON, NY – Fulton Police Departments Deputy Chief Thomas Abelgore will officially retire on March 26, after 22 years of service.

Abelgore began his career in the spring of 1994, attending the very first Syracuse Police Academy.

During his career with the Fulton Police Department, Abelgore held several ranks including both Patrol Sergeant and Sergeant in charge of Training and Traffic along with Patrol Lieutenant.

Abelgore was promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief in February of 2008 where he has served for the last eight years as the department’s second in command.

Tom lives in Fulton with his wife Brenda, and their three children, Nick, Alexia and Ethan.
