On 02/27/2023 at 10:21 A.M. members of the Fulton Police Department were dispatched to a welfare check in the 350 block of Broadwell Ave.
Upon initial arrival, units were unable to make contact with the subject involved. There was no information received that the subject involved was a threat to anyone.
Due to the nature of the information received, however, a 911 call to nearby residents was put out to stay inside. The G. Ray Bodley High School was also put in lockout as a precaution due to being in close proximity to the residence where the incident was taking place. Several roadways were also blocked off in the area. Contact was finally reached with the subject who did come outside, shortly after 12:00 P.M., and was detained without incident.
After conclusion, the lockout and order to remain in your residence was lifted. There is no concern for public safety at this time. The Fulton Police Department would like to thank members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, the New York State Police and the Oswego City Police Department who responded to assist and help bring this incident to a safe resolution.
