Fulton Teen Facing Sex Abuse Charge

OSWEGO – On Wednesday (June 27), at 1:45 p.m., sheriff’s deputies arrested Evan M. Groff, 18, of 24 W. Eleventh St., Apt. D3, Fulton.

He was charged with first-degree sex abuse, a class D felony and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.

The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident that occurred between May – June 2018.

He allegedly engaged in sexual contact with the victim being less than 11 years of age at a town of Granby residence.

Mr. Groff was arraigned in the Town of Volney Court.

He is scheduled to reappear on July 2 in the Town of Granby Court.
